Grégoire Sentilhes is the President and founder of NextStage AM. He was previously Managing Director of Screaming Media, a value-added content syndication company introduced in Nasdaq in 2000 and which subsequently merged with Market Watch, then acquired by Dow Jones for $550 million, and which is now one of the leading financial information companies in the United States. He was also Senior Vice President Marketing of the e-commerce division of the German Bertelsmann group in 1997 and before that, President and co-founder of the Lagardère group’s Internet and online activities from 1993 to 1996. From 1988 to 1993, he was President and founder of SI, one of the first web agencies in Europe and the world. He worked for Robert Hersant, and was a director of the Hersant Group from 1984 to 1988.
It has also successfully invested in 15 companies in France, Spain, the United States and China, four of which were subsequently listed on the Nasdaq and two on the Nouveau Marché in Paris.
He was a director of AFIC and Chairman of the Development Capital Commission that he founded in 2004. He was one of the members of the steering committee of France Investissement from 2007 to 2012, of which he was one of the inspiration. He is the co-founder and President of Citizen Entrepreneurs (formerly Journées de l’Entrepreneur, founded in 2007). He is the Chairman of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs (G20 YEA), which he co-founded and of which he was the first Chairman. He is a member of the MEDEF Strategic Council and was one of 4 experts to the government for the Entrepreneurship Forum in 2013.
