Gilles Pagniez, is Chief Executive Officer and Partner of Temaris et Associés, an investment vehicle based in Paris. Until February 2018, he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Artémis group. Gilles has more than 25 years of experience in numerous M&A transactions led by the Artémis Group, covering a wide range of industries, including luxury goods, insurance, real estate, construction, consumer goods and retail. Gilles has been a member of the Board of Directors of many companies whose interests are held by the Artémis Group: Christie’s Auction House; Château Latour, a high-end vineyard; Le Ponant, a luxury cruise line; Le Point magazine, Aoba, a Japanese life insurance company; New California Life Holding, a life insurance company in California; and Tawa, an English insurance company. Gilles is behind the creation of the first fund set up by Artémis, Red River Holding, a $250 million fund operating in Vietnam. He was a member of the fund’s Investment Committee and responsible for the fund’s operations at Artémis. He also participated in the creation of the Red River Reinsurance Debt Purchase Fund, of which he is a member of the Investment Committee.
Gilles is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes politiques de Paris and holds a Master’s degree in law from the University of Paris Assas.
