Dream Yacht Charter
Founded in 2001 by Loïc Bonnet with a first base of only 6 boats in the Seychelles, Dream Yacht Charter has grown rapidly thanks to the vision and leadership of its founder and has spread across the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, the Caribbean Sea, Australia, the Pacific and more recently in North America and the Bahamas.
The group, which is the world’s leading recreational boat rental company, is now present in the world’s main shipping basins. Today, it has more than 900 boats in 49 destinations.
After a career as a journalist and then a banker, Loïc Bonnet joined the nautical world first at Stardust as marketing and sales manager and then at The Moorings where he became Chief Executive Europe in 1995. In 2000 he decided to create his own cruise and sailing yacht charter company in the Seychelles with 6 boats : this was the beginning of Dream Yacht Charter. As a serial developer, he has succeeded in establishing the group as one of the leaders in the leisure boat rental market by constituting the second largest player in the world with a fleet of more than 850 boats.
After two experiences in management control at Danone in Mexico (4 years) and then at McDonald France (3 years), Romuald Caillaud became CFO at Lastminute.com (7 years) and then Group CFO at Allociné (2 years). He then joined Rentabiliweb (2 years old) and joined DYC in 2012 to help structure the group and accelerate its growth.
